The Specialist Water Emergency Service has been established to remove the effects of water ingress or uncontrolled inflow of water or water with material particles into mining excavations. The task of the emergency service is to assemble and operate the emergency equipment during rescue operations and preventive work.
The emergency service equipment includes
- pumps with a lift head of up to 30 m and a capacity of up to 10,000 dm3 ,
- pumps for chemically aggressive liquids with a lift head of up to 30 m and a capacity of up to 1000dm3 ,
- slurry pumps for pumping liquids with a density of up to 1,000 kg/m3 , with a lifting head of up to 25 m and a capacity of up to 1000 dm3 /min,
- slurry pumps for pumping liquids with a density of up to 1,000 kg/m3 , with a lifting head of up to 25 m and a capacity of up to 1000 dm3 /min,
- pneumatic slurry pumps with a lifting head of up to 20 m and a capacity of 800 dm3 /min,
- combustion engine pump units.
