Mirosław Bagiński

Mirosław Bagiński – graduated from the Faculty of Mining, Wroclaw University of Science and Technology in 1989, with a specialisation in Underground Deposit Mining Technology.
In 1995, graduated from the Institute of Organisation and Enterprise Management at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, majoring in Enterprise Management, and in 2010, completed postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Mining and Geology – Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, in the field of Aerology and Mine Rescue.
In 2007, completed the course and passed the Ministry of State Treasury exam for candidates for supervisory board members in state-owned enterprises.
Holds numerous qualifications, including for the Head of the Mine Rescue Unit for Underground Mining Plants, confirmed by the President of the State Mining Authority in 2007.
Involved in professional mine rescue from 1991 to 2016. Among other qualifications, a Class III diver and a Class II underwater works manager.
Conducted and supervised testing in the certification processes of respiratory protection equipment operated in underground mine workings. Participated in the research project: ?Effects of microclimate conditions on the safety of mine rescuers during rescue operations conducted in harsh microclimate conditions in underground mining plants. Physiological criteria for safe working time of rescuers in harsh microclimate conditions” with the introduction of the tables of acceptable working times for mine rescuers in various microclimate conditions developed during the project.
From 2007 to 2011, Technical Director of CSRG S.A., Deputy Head of the Mine Rescue Unit.
From 2011 to 2016, he served as Member of the Management Board, Vice President of Technical Affairs, and Deputy Head of the Mine Rescue Unit.
In 2009, conducted a diagnostic assessment of mine rescue in Colombia.
Worked for the development of cooperation with mine rescue units in Ukraine, Kazakhstan, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Mongolia and Germany.
Supervised the preparation and implementation of international mine rescue competitions: Poland – CSRG S.A./State Mining Authority – International Mines Rescue Competition 2014
Participated in the implementation of national and international projects, including: EMTECH, I-Protect, RESYS, ORIENTATION, INREQ and the works of the standardisation team at the National Committee for Research and Standardisation in the field of respiratory protective equipment.
Former court expert and member of the mining aerology section of the Mining Committee of the Katowice Branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN).
Participated in the works of the State Mining Authority’s Commission for “Analysis of the application of laws related to the operation of mining plants?, the SMA Examination Commission for ascertaining the qualifications of supervisory personnel and specialists performing mine rescue activities, and the working group on technical safety at the State Mining Authority, acting as part of a work team.
He has authored or co-authored several dozen specialist and trade articles and papers.
